⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a breath of fresh air! So endearing and heartfelt. The book made me smile and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Colin, the Earl of Shefford gained a building in a game of chance. He is a respectable, admirable peer who is a member of the Wicked Earls’ Club. He goes to the building with plans on his mind only to find his life going in a completely different direction. I liked his honesty and sincerity. His impulsiveness was fun too.
Honoria Mason avoids the peerage, burying herself in her work at the orphanage. Her entire life is turned upside down when Colin appears on her doorstep. Nora is spunky and warm-hearted. I felt her love of the children.
It was a fast paced, easy read. I loved the secondary characters. They had depth and emotion. The villain was believable. The love story was sweet but you felt the passion between the couple. The couple had an electric attraction. The children were adorable. The plot was fresh and stood out in this genre which can get repetitive at times. I really enjoyed this book and will read more of this author and of the Wicked Earls’ Club series.
I received an ARC of the book, this is my voluntary, honest review.
I am always looking for new authors and I am so happy I found this one! I really enjoyed this book, it made me smile! It wasn’t angsty or dark, just a happy, romantic love story. I recommend this author and will definitely read more of her books!
