Her Wicked White by Tammy Andresen

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What an excellent beginning to a new series!  I fell in love with Ben and Chloe from the very start.  Ben is the new Duke of Whitehaven and unwilling leader of his siblings, his father’s widow, and his half-brother.  Ben’s family has been estranged for decades.  His three brothers and one sister have no desire to know each other.  This deplorable situation was orchestrated by their despicable father, upon whose death requires all the siblings and his widow to gather together to read the will.  Ben wants nothing to do with this responsibility.  Chloe is Ben’s sister’s companion.  When Ben and Chloe meet, the sparks fly.  The couple’s intensity is off the charts.  This is a story about how love can heal even the darkest of hearts.

The plot was fast-paced and beautifully written.  It was intricate and well developed.  A lot was going on. However, I was never confused or overwhelmed; instead, it kept me riveted to the page.  The story flowed naturally.  The characters, including secondary, were robust and vivid.  The writing was spot-on, I couldn’t wait to turn the page, and I eagerly anticipate the next book!

I was captivated by Ben and Chloe’s story.  It was heartfelt and passionate.  I yearned for the couple’s happiness.  The couple complimented each other perfectly.  This fantastic story creates a solid foundation for a great series.  The world-building started a family I wanted to get to know.  This book had everything the reader could wish, an excellent read!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book through the author.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Her Wicked White is the first book in the Dark Duke’s  Legacy series.  I eagerly anticipate the next book in the series, Her Willful White.  Each book focuses on a different member of the White family.  Book two focuses on Destrian, who we met in this book.  I fell in love with every character in this story.  This book left me wanting more!
