Silver Bells And Mistletoe by Anna St. Claire

This is a lovingly written, sweet, romantic Christmas tale!  Lady Susan is enraged when she discovers her father has signed marriage contracts to an unnamed suitor.  Grayson, Lord Harding, has just returned home.  He has trained as a physician but has inherited a title.  Grayson and Susan have known each other since childhood.  Will distance have made Susan’s heart grow fonder?  Will Grayson be able to court and woo Susan?  Can Grayson and Susan discover why her little brother is sick before it is too late?

Although a short novella, this story packs a punch.  It is an easy, fun read.  The plot is fast-paced and has a lot of twists and turns.  The romance between Grayson and Susan is evident from their first encounter.  The couple’s chemistry is good, and their romance builds at a steady pace.  The secondary characters are strong and bring depth to the story.  There is also a mystery that keeps the plot intriguing.

Overall, this book was delightful to read.  Read in a couple of hours; it left me longing for Christmas!  The story had an excellent happily ever after.  I am happy I read this fun, sweet story!  I enjoyed this book. Most importantly, it made me smile!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book through the author.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.
