The Viscount’s Darling Adventure by Maggie Dallen and Katherine Ann Madison

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Leopold and Clarissa’s romance shines brightly in the A Wallflowers Wish series.  This book was a fresh take on the star-crossed lover’s theme; filled with joy, the novel takes us on a journey of strife and romance.

Leopold Ainsworth can be considered dull and awkward.  Clarissa Rutland is spontaneous and adventurous.  Through fate, these two find each other and have to overcome their family’s hatred of one another.  I love how the couple is opposites, yet the attraction is instantaneous and tangible.  The characters were well developed and deepened the story.

The plot was straightforward but unfolded lovingly.  This was a modern-day re-telling of Romeo and Juliet, but with a happy ending.  This is a short, fun, and easy read in an afternoon.  The Viscount’s Darling Adventure is the eighth book in A Wallflower’s Wish series.  The plot is bright and vivid, with a beautiful background.  Leo and Clarissa’s love story is passionate and sweetly romantic.  I couldn’t put this lovely little jewel of a book down.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book through the author.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.
