I read and reviewed twenty-two books in July. The rating stats are: eleven five-star reviews, nine four-star reviews, and two three-star reviews. The quality of writing was excellent and set a high bar. Some favorite authors didn’t disappoint and delivered quality work. I have chosen The Marquess Method by Kathleen Ayers for the July Book Of The Month! I have fallen in love with all the Barringtons, but Theo is my favorite sister. Haven is by far my favorite male lead in the entire series. Theo is an artist who lives in her own world. She has an innocence that endears her. Haven is destitute and desperate. The attraction and resulting passion are steamy good! The relationship between Haven and Theo is tumultuous, but it also has an endearing tenderness to it. I fell in love with both characters. This series is a favorite of mine, and I have wanted to select one of the series as BOM. After reading The Marquess Method, I knew this was the book, and July was the month! I have featured The Marquess Method several times this month. The novel spins a poignant story of need, redemption, and love. If you haven’t read it, I advise starting with book one, The Theory Of Earls. I have reviewed all three books in the series. They continue to evolve and exceed expectations.
