August BOM and September Preview

Hello, fellow romance lovers!  Whew!  August was hot, and September is undoubtedly starting that way.  I am looking forward to fall and hoping the cooler weather comes sooner rather than later.  This month I am featuring an overview of my August reviews and features.  After that, I will showcase what is coming up for September.  All my book reviews for August can easily be viewed by clicking on the book name.  Books are organized by release date.  Without further ado…here we go!

I read and reviewed fifteen books in August.  The rating stats are nine five-star reviews, four four-star reviews, and one three-star review.  The quality of writing was excellent.  I had so many fantastic five-star reviews.  I read extremes from angsty to hilarious and steamy to sweet.  I discovered popular must-have reads and those jewels that slipped under the radar.  Below is my book list and a link to each book’s review.

I decided to be different in my choice of August book of the month.  There were several stand-out novels that I adored.  However, I have decided to go with the book that had me smiling and laughing until the last page.  Gray and Mercy’s quirky, fun gunslinger western was entertaining and quick-witted.  There is no angst or sorrow here.  Look for a wild, passionate shoot-out of a story!  Gray sparkled and shone as the lonely, retired gunslinger, only looking for peace, quiet, meals, and many naps!  Mercy finds herself in a bind and wrangles Gray into the mess.  Mercy is feisty and Gray’s opposite. Throw in a want-to-be gunslinger and a town full of meddling, colorful townspeople, and you get a happy, joyful read!
