Book Of The Month
To be the book of the month, something in the novel must have a special spark. I need to be instantly immersed in that world even after a month of reading a plethora of other books. A Lady’s Heart Deceived by Sasha Cottman achieved this goal. I was fully invested in the characters and the plot at all times. The storyline stood out to me; I loved Piers’s character due to his inner battle between his hope of a future with Maggie and the threat of this past. Maggie was magnificent, showcasing a gambit of emotions from devotion, to shock, to acceptance and finally achieving a well-deserved love. The entire novel is shown brightly. When I thought of the book of the month, A Lady’s Heart Deceived instantly jumped out! Do not miss this book. Sasha Cottman again delivers a magnetic story full of angst, charm, and romance.
