The Courage Of A Lyon by Linda Rae Sande

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Courage Of A Lyon focuses on James and Charles, two destitute brothers. Each has their own journey to find security and love. The story unfolds around a gaming hell with a matchmaker as a proprietress. James is the eldest and finds himself in need of an heiress. James embarks on a journey to find this heiress but meets his match in El. Charles has come home from war injured and disillusioned. Charles holds onto stolen moments in a field hospital with his “angel” nurse. When Charles finds Amy, there are enormous obstacles they have to conquer to be together.

I loved Charles and Amy’s emotional connection. The two were bonded together by war experiences and were perfect for each other. The emotionally passionate depth of their relationship was a joy to read. James and El’s courtship is unique and amusing. I enjoyed how hard James fell for El. I also loved El’s parent’s reactions. James and El’s romance left me with a smile.

I loved the duality of the plot. I read two beautiful love stories in one book! The writing was seamless, weaving four people’s points of view to make you feel part of the story. I love the writing style. I feel so close to the characters. Each character has depth with unique nuances. I could not put this book down. Linda Rae Sande has created another first-class romance! The Courage Of A Lyon is part of the Lyon’s Den series. I loved the characters, the matchmaking, and the exceptional storyline. This is a do not miss read!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book through the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
