The couple soon finds that a relationship based on a transaction doomed by Francesca’s duplicity doesn’t lessen the intense sensuality and growing emotions created in their illicit month together.
Grey has been hurt, sworn off love, and detests lies. At first, I was a little disappointed in Grey; he offers a deal to a servant who cannot resist. However, that disappointment evolved into adoration when he displayed warmth and kindness to Francesca. Francesca is a tragic figure forced to lie to the man with who she has burgeoning feelings for survival. Grey and Francesca are forced to face their demons as they discover their raw, sensual pull toward each other.
Wow, this book was pure fire! The couple creates intense, heart-pounding scenes that keep you riveted to the page. The moments of passion are rivaled by the couple’s tenderness and romantic connection. Underneath the amazing passion is a romantic story that steals your heart.
