Hello Fall
Hello, fellow romance lovers! My favorite season, fall, is here! The leaves are just starting to change here in the foothills of Appalachia. September was a busy month for me. I have had fur baby health issues. Chloe Grace, my nine-year-old dachshund, has a tumor on her back paw. We’ve been back and forth with the vet, and he decided to remove the tumor to make sure it isn’t malignant. If it is, she could lose her paw. She is in surgery as I write this. Below is a picture of Chloe Grace with her sister, LuLu. Chloe Grace is on the right.

I have a lot going on in my monthly blog. I have my review recap, BOM for September, and a look ahead to October. I have exciting news. I am having a giveaway! Read below for the details! I am also involved in several Blog Tours in October and November. Those are spotlighted below.
📚📖📚📖Paperback Giveaway📖📚📖
The one used bookstore in the tri-state area has closed down. The store was minutes from my house. I have traded and purchased books there for decades. Sadly the building is falling apart, and the lady who owns the store has health issues. She had thousands of books to sell. I collect historical romance books, and she gave me a deal – 25 cents a book! Finally, after I got a ton books, she told me to take more for free! I started grabbing hr books! Below is my library, it is part of my new office. I want to share my good fortune with you! I will give away ten paperback hr books each month to a random reader – comment on this blog to be entered. International entries are welcomed. The books will be a selection of hr from bodice rippers to current authors. This is my thank you for being followers! Don’t miss out!

In case you missed it, below is a list of my reviews for September.
Book Reviews for September
Book Of The Month ~ September
I chose Duke Most Wicked by Lenora Bell for the book of the month for September. Looking back through the books I read this month; Duke Most Wicked demanded my attention! West is the ultimate jerk hero, and Viola is the perfect wallflower. West and Viola undertake an emotional journey where West finds his heart, and Viola finds her worth. I loved Viola’s shyness regarding her hopeless infatuation with West, yet she stills has spunk and stands up to West when he threatens to take his sister’s choices away. The writing is excellent; Lenora Bell did a great job creating characters I invested in and a plot that was witty, warm, and charming. I couldn’t put this book down; it was an easy, heartwarming romance I recommend wholeheartedly.

My Review of Duke Most Wicked by Lenora Bell
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Duke Most Wicked caught my attention on page one with its luscious characters, clever dialogue, and swoon-worthy romance! I love a jerk hero, and Brandon, Duke of Westbury or “West,” is the worse possible libertine. My first thoughts were, “he’s horrid; there is no way this one will find redemption.” Viola Beaton is West’s sister’s music teacher. Sunny, optimistic Viola is unconditionally, irrevocably in love with sinister, moody West, who doesn’t even call her by her correct name. I laughed every time West called Viola Miss Bedlam!
Both West and Viola evolve throughout the novel. They bring out the best qualities in one another. West finds he can overcome his past and find love, and Viola discovers she can step out of the shadows and shine. The passionate and intimate connection that grew between West and Viola developed organically and romantically. One of West’s gifts towards the end was…unique? I loved it! It was the perfect declaration for an unconventional couple.
Duke Most Wicked is the third book in the Wallflowers vs. Rogues series. This book was a bubbly, warm, engaging romance that kept me reading late. Lenora Bell creates fallible, lovable characters that have you quickly turning the page to discover their happily ever after. Duke Most Wicked is a delightful confection of a romance sure to warm your heart!
Coming in October

I am excited to inform you that my first paranormal romance book will be reviewed this month! I have all of Christine Feehan’s Carpathian series and Dark Whisper exceeded my expectations. I also have a Christmas Anthology! These always are favorites.
