Her Frontier Sweethearts is a sweet, entertaining treat! Ciara comes to Wallin Landing to open her restaurant, avoiding matrimonial prospects. Kit Weatherly is shocked to discover he has a niece that is now his responsibility. Kit and Ciara are thrown together to care for Grace, Kit’s niece. Together they find kindred spirits and possibly love.
The plot is engaging and entertaining. There are a lot of characters in this book, and at times it felt daunting trying to remember everyone. However, the character’s vibrant personalities and the eye-catching storyline drew me into this romance. I loved both Kit and Ciara. Kit was a wondering soul; he felt he didn’t have anything of worth to give to Grace and Ciara. Ciara has come to Wallin Landing to prove herself. Both Kit and Ciara are striving for happiness, and they don’t realize that it can come from the encouragement of loved ones.
Her Frontier Sweethearts is the second book in the Frontier Matches series. This sunny, enchanting book was fun to read. Regina Scott creates relatable characters with flaws that find love and purpose. These western romances are a sweet, entertaining read.
