The Viscount And The Spinster was an easy-to-read, fun, sweet romance. Jonathon has inherited his title as viscount and is trying to undo all the debt his father accrued. Jonathon is seeking to secure his future through hard work and ingenuity. Lady Juliette has escaped the ton’s ballrooms and retreated to a cottage on the beach to further her research in marine life.
Both Jonathon and Juliette were determined to live their life on their own terms. Both are independent and free-spirited. I loved how Juliette was independent yet she could admit she was lonely; it humanized Juliette even more. Jonathon strives to be selfless and giving; the opposite of his father.
I loved how well Jonathon an Juliette fitted each other. Their personalities and dreams complemented each other. This was a quick, easy read that was heart-warming. The Viscount And The Spinster is the fourth book in the Matchmaking On The Marriage Mart. Katherine Ann Madison is exceptional at writing unique, organic characters whose journey always resonates joy and warmth.
