His Reluctant Marchioness by Sorcha Mowbray

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a sexy, savvy, intriguing romance!  I have read several of the Lustful Lords books, and His Reluctant Marchioness is my favorite.  Amelia is hiding from a tragic past that, if it came to light, could destroy her.  Frank Lucifer has risen from poverty to owning a thriving gaming hell and having a supportive, if annoying titled half-brother.  Both Lucifer and Amelia survive and thrive on meeting the more pleasurable needs of the aristocracy.  After an electric first encounter, the couple finds themselves thrown together to solve a mystery.  The questions and the sexual tension rise exponentially throughout their journey.

Both Lucifer and Amelia have risen from the ashes of poverty and danger to become fierce, successful, and independent.  I loved Amelia’s bravado and how she was comfortable in her skin.  His sensuality and intellectual appeal offset Lucifer’s relentlessness and stubborn attitude.

The couple’s fiery chemistry makes for a turbulent, sexy read.  The character dynamic and relationship development in the storyline is perfect.  The prologue grabbed my attention and didn’t let go.  This is a fast-paced, breathtakingly sensual plot.  I adored Lucifer and Amelia, and their personalities left an unforgettable impression.  His Reluctant Marchioness is the fifth book in the Lustful Lords series.  The intricate storyline and oh-so-steamy scenes kept me turning the page and devouring this book!  The writing, characters, and plot checked all the boxes for a riveting, passionate romance.  I recommend every book in this series.  His Reluctant Marchioness exceeded all my expectations!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book through the author.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.
