⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Drew Finch, Lord Sullivan is a widower looking for a wife. Aurora Hillcrest is the friend/matchmaker who tries to assist Drew. The two begin an affair that has the potential to destroy them both or lead to undying love.
I had mixed feelings about this book. Yours Until Dawn has elegant writing that instantly drew me into the story. The plot moved well and kept my interest. I felt the speed drag a little in the middle of the book. I immediately loved Drew. He is still heartbroken over the loss of his first wife and son. Unlike so many men in his position, he is looking for love. Drew also stands up for himself against his powerful father. I enjoyed Drew’s strength and resilience.
I had a hard time warming to Aurora. Aurora had secrets that ate away at her self-worth. She has deeply seated trust issues. I felt she treated Drew abysmally at times. Aurora redeems herself towards the last chapters of the book. I would have liked more softness in Aurora.
Yours Until Dawn is the nineteenth book in The Distinguished Gentleman series. Drew and Aurora’s happily-ever-after is hard-won but well worth the journey. Drew shone in this novel; he is a terrific book boyfriend! I loved his unwavering support of Aurora. Heather Boyd has created a heart-wrenching, passionate romance.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book through BookSprout. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
