The Wallflower’s Stocking is another easy-to-read, light-hearted Christmas romance. Zachariah unexpectedly inherits from his despicable cousin. Zachariah is judged by the ton for his evil cousin’s crimes. Lady Gaia has been haunted by the handsome lord she met last year at Christmas. He promised her a waltz during the season but was never heard from again. The couple reunites a year later, and sparks fly, but will Zachariah’s cousin’s wickedness ruin the couple’s happiness?
I felt both Zachariah and Gaia were relatable, lovable characters. The plot is centered on the development of the couple’s burgeoning relationship. The story was sweet and romantic, yet still held a passionate connection between the couple. The Wallflower’s Stocking is the ninth book in the Christmas Wallflowers series. This was a lovely, quick Christmas read!
