Only The Valet Will Do by Sophie Barnes. I have enjoyed reading about Lilliana’s cousins finding love and was so excited to read her story finally. Lilliana is the last cousin to wear the magical rose quartz necklace that leads the ladies to their true love. Tristan Henley is Lilliana’s brother’s valet and is keeping a secret. Sparks fly when Lilliana and Tristan meet, but their love is doomed due to their extreme differences in station. Lilliana must put her faith in the quartz to keep Tristan.
I loved how Lilliana’s family supported her. Although against Tristan as a match, they had her welfare in mind. My heart ached for Tristan, a man put in an untenable position. The couple lit up the page at their first encounter. Tristan and Lilliana were perfect for each other.
Only The Valet Will Do was a charming, easy-to-read romance with lots of heart. Sophie Barnes delights us with an unlikely romance that defies logic and will make you smile.
