Mrs. Peabody And The Unexpected Duke is a novella in the Lady Charlotte’s Society Of Angels by Grace Callaway. Wow, wow, wow! I loved Mrs. Peabody and Hawker’s story! I have fallen in love with Peabody and Hawker throughout the Angel books. Both Hawker and Peabody have been intense, mysterious side characters. I have been impatiently waiting to understand them better. For such a short story, the plot is packed with romance, steamy passion, and action. I devoured this novella. It had all the elements I expected from a Grace Callaway story. The connection between Hawker and Peabody is super fiery and sensual. This novella had such strong, vivid characters that I wish Hawker and Peabody had an entire-length novel. I didn’t want this fantastic story to end!
