⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Schooled By The Bastard is the seventh and final book in Miss Primm’s Secret School For Budding Bluestockings by Annabelle Anders. I have been emotionally pulled apart by this amazing series, and Schooled By The Bastard stole my breath away. I have been waiting for Augusta’s story since book one. I was instantly drawn to the independent, intelligent woman who put her teachers and students as her priorities.
Rowan and Augusta’s young love was destroyed by Augusta’s evil, demented father. Seventeen years later, the couple has grown into different people with successful careers yet broken hearts. Rowan and Augusta’s journey is heart-wrenching at times. There is so much tragedy and lies, yet the couple finds a way to forge ahead. It takes an unusual amount of strength to leave the past in the past and focus on the future, and that is exactly what these two extraordinary characters do. This isn’t an easy journey, yet I feel Rowan and Augusta’s romance is the most organic and passionate in the entire series.
This is a medium-paced plot, yet it is also a page-turner. There is a mystery throughout the books that take the forefront here. I felt this story tied up all the loose ends perfectly. I loved the epilogue. I would have loved seeing how the other couples from previous books were faring – but that’s just me! Augusta Primm is the glue that held the school and these books together. She is one of the most intelligent, passionate, and independent characters I have read, yet her flaws made her such an exceptional character.
Annabelle Anders created a romance masterpiece about two broken souls making the best out of their situations until they find the strength to trust and love again. As second-chance romances go, this one is perfection! I have been impressed with every Annabelle Anders’ books, and I’ve read a lot! The Miss Primm’s series was outstanding. Rowan and Augusta will always hold a special place in my heart. I can’t wait to see what Annabelle Anders has in store for us next!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book through the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
