The Duke Who Dared is the first book in the All That Glitters series by Tammy Andresen. What a way to begin a series! I am a super fan of Tammy Andresen, and this is her most romantic, most intriguing book to date.
Aubrey finds herself in a difficult situation regarding a blue diamond necklace. Nick, the Duke of Westgate, keeps showing up and getting in her way. Aubrey must decide if she trusts Nick with her mission and her love.
Both Nick and Aubrey were fantastic characters. They are from different worlds, but they connect passionately and sweetly. I enjoyed Nick’s mischievous nature and his willingness to help Aubrey. Aubrey’s independence and intelligence made her an unforgettable character.
This is a fas-moving, intriguing plot that kept me interested until the final paragraph. I love the worlds Tammy Andresen creates in each of her series; they are always decadent, passionate, and romantic. I was enthralled by this book and look forward to the rest of the series.
