A lovely tale of unlikely love.
This is the love story of Alexander, Duke of Caershire and Teresa Metcalfe. Alexander’s past decisions has made him a pariah in the ton. Teresa’s desperate situation has turned her into a courtesan. They meet through extraordinary circumstances.
This is an unlikely match, but it works within the story. Like the other novellas in this series, the story is character centered. The story was passionate and entertaining. The pace was fast. The plot was a little fantastical but very romantic.
Although not my favorite in the series, I enjoyed this short, easy read novella. It got to the point quickly and was well developed. Another good installment. I will definitely continue reading this series.
