This is my first Ivankov Brotherhood book, and I am an instant fan! I am immediately going back to read the previous books. Bratva Beauty is full of danger, intrigue, and light-the-page-on-fire sensuality. This is a contemporary mafia romance. Pasha and his family are part of the Bratva (Russian mafia). Pasha meets Sumiko and sparks fly; the couple must face the realities of Pasha’s violent life and be prepared for danger around every corner, but the two soulmates will sacrifice anything for one another’s safety and happiness.
Pasha and Sumiko are smoking hot! Pasha is all alpha male yet under the brutal façade is a caring, loving family man. Sumiko is sensitive about her body image, and I thought it was so touching how Pasha shows Sumiko how beautiful she is. Sumiko is also fierce, intelligent, and strong. Sumiko flourishes under Pasha’s firm guidance. I loved the dynamic between Pasha and Sumiko. The couple is perfect for each other.
The plot is riveting. Full of sensuality, violence, and intrigue, this gritty romance is captivating, and I couldn’t put the book down. This is a fast-paced, action-packed story that also doesn’t let up on the steamy passion. I also enjoyed the family dynamics, and the secondary characters enhanced the plot.
