Cusp Of Darkness is the first book in the Cusp series by Olivia Preya. What a great way to start a series! This is a nail-biting, fiery, passionate romance. Valerius has been obsessed with Adaliya for years. Valerius sees an opportunity to bind Adaliya to him and gain control of his birth right at the same time. The couple must learn to compromise, trust, and eventually love.
Valerius was a great anti-hero. Valerius was dark, dangerous, and sinfully sensual. I loved how only with Adaliya was he captivated and caring. Adaliya was light to Valerius’ darkness, yet she also had a darkness inside her. The couple’s sensual connection was explosive – it ignited the page! I loved Valerius and Adaliya’s journey.
The plot was fast-paced and captivating. I fell in love with both Valerius and Adaliya. I felt that the issues and difficulties Valerius and Adaliya faced were wrapped up too neatly. However, I love the strength of the couple’s bond at the conclusion of the book. I enjoyed every moment of this book! Cusp Of Darkness is an excellent way to begin a new series. I can’t wait for the next book!
