My Review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Violins And Vampires is the first book in the Vampires Of The Daemonverse series by CEE BEE. Going in, I was reviewing this as a romantic fantasy book. In reality, it is much more fantasy than romance. This book contains a lot of backstories, which are integral to building the world these vivid, addictive characters live. I am critiquing this like a prequel; this book does an excellent job of catching the reader’s attention and pulling them into a dark, decadent world populated with sensual, dangerous characters.
I enjoyed Caelin MacGregor, a bloodkin vampire thousands of years old. I also like Lexa Uznetsov, a woman shrouded in mystery, but she calls to Caelin’s cold heart. Both main characters were intriguing and captivating. The story was exciting and entertaining; it caught my attention and imagination instantly. I look forward to the next book. I do hope we get a little bit more romance in the second novel. However, all in all, a surprisingly addictive read!
